Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS)

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and is an international organization that exists to encourage, equip, and help women become the best moms that they can be. Women who are pregnant or have young children (birth through kindergarten) are all invited to join MOPS.  MOPS provides an opportunity to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. We share our experiences, learn from one another, and support each other.  MOPS meetings are a wonderful place to build friendships and have fun. In other words, it’s a playdate for moms!  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month from September through May, at 9:45am-11:45am.

At each of our meetings, we enjoy some time to get to know each other over brunch and coffee. Also, we typically have a speaker or creative activity plus small group discussion that allows us to explore issues related to motherhood together.  Childcare during all meetings is provided through the MOPPETS program. We provide a fun, nurturing environment for your kids to play and learn while you take a well-deserved break.  In addition to meetings, we plan special events such as play groups, “Mom’s Night Out,” and family outings called “MOPS & amp; POPS.” We also participate in community service activities.
